{"id":20666,"date":"2022-03-21T10:11:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T10:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ybventures.com\/demo\/?p=20666"},"modified":"2026-06-15T09:37:52","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T09:37:52","slug":"yb-ventures-to-cement-its-presence-regionally","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ybventures.com\/demo\/yb-ventures-to-cement-its-presence-regionally\/","title":{"rendered":"YB Ventures to cement its presence regionally"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"20666\" class=\"elementor elementor-20666\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-29c6df0e e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"29c6df0e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-40448446 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"40448446\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><figcaption>Executive director Datuk Au Yee Boon (pic) said there have been overwhelming enquiries on its new product range of tiles. \u201cWith the reopening of borders, we intend to go full force to market our products in Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.<\/figcaption><\/figure><p>PETALING JAYA: While\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20240617073918\/https:\/\/www.thestar.com.my\/business\/marketwatch\/stocks\/?qcounter=YB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">YB Ventures Bhd<\/a>\u00a0is on track to achieve a 15% to 20% growth in its top line this year, the reopening of international borders will be another revenue booster as it will enable the company to tap into regional markets.<\/p><p>Executive director Datuk Au Yee Boon said there have been overwhelming enquiries on its new product range of tiles.<\/p><p>\u201cWith the reopening of borders, we intend to go full force to market our products in Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.<\/p><p>\u201cOur target customers are house owners, interior designers and contractors who prefer quality and functional tiles.<\/p><p>\u201cOur medium to long-term plan is to expand beyond the domestic shores and tap into neighbouring countries in South-East Asia for our tile manufacturing and information technology (IT) solution business,\u201d he added.<\/p><p>Organically, Au is confident of achieving a 15% to 20% growth on the top line, with net margins of around 3% to 4%.<\/p><p>With the company\u2019s sales expanding regionally, better earnings are expected in 2023.<\/p><p>As of now, he said YB Ventures has backlog orders of more than RM25mil which would keep it busy for the next few months.<\/p><p>At the moment, 90% of its tiles manufacturing is direct to consumers.<\/p><p>Apart from this, he said the company\u2019s venture into the renewable energy (RE) sector would be commencing soon.<\/p><p>\u201cOur immediate focus is to divert the earnings base to include strong recurring cashflow from this sector. Large scale solar projects come with a 21-year power purchase agreement. We have a technical partner who has vast experience in the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.<\/p><p>\u201cAs the listed company, we would be able to provide the financing.<\/p><p>\u201cThis is a good synergy collaboration.
