Our History
YB Ventures Berhad (previously known as Yi-Lai Berhad) was registered as the proprietor of the “Alpha Tiles” trademark on 28 November 1991 and started with a single production line. To become and remain as industry leader, the Alpha Tiles business model is based on Italian visionary strategies. In 2019, a new vision was founded – Talos Living Tiles, a major household name in construction, renovation and interior decoration.
Alpha Tiles is a leader in supplying superior quality tiles to hundreds of residential housing developments and renovation projects in both cities and rural areas. It was chosen as the trusted brand for the award-winning developments in Subang Jaya Township in Selangor.
That project won the International Real Estate Federation (Malaysian Chapter) Award of Distinction 2000 in the category of “Best Residential Development”.
A new product range founded by YB Ventures Berhad, which holds the principle of “Vitamins In The Air” serves as functional tiles to improve indoor air quality, the only manufacturer in Malaysia producing tiles with Negative-Ion benefits.
Apart from Mastile Interconcept, Talos Living Tiles are sold in key cities with large populations via other retail dealers: Sheng Bee (M) Sdn Bhd (Kuala Lumpur), Kah Guan Trading Sdn Bhd (Ipoh), E-Ceramics Concept Sdn Bhd (Seberang Prai), Hooi Chuan Enterprise Sdn Bhd (George Town) and Mastile Klang Sdn Bhd (Klang).
